Bri's Weekly Top Three 5.5.17
Reflective leashes are extremely important, especially if you're going to be taking your dog for walks in the evening. Unfortunately I am not a fan of neon yellow or orange. Granted, safety comes first but if I have a different color choice, I'm going for it. This Midlee leash has a silvery gray reflective ribbon sewn down its length and a traffic handle right above the bolt snap clasp for added control if a safety issue arises.
Next up, I like silly things. That may or may not have been apparent anyway, but there it is. This food dish from PetRageous (great name) is handcrafted stoneware (handcrafted anything always has a plus in my book) and is painted to look like a cat face in the middle. That would be cute enough, except that the winged red polka-dot sunglasses make me think this is a cool grandma or crazy aunt cat and I just love it. Also, dishwasher and microwave safe. Always important things.
Last, because there's a kitch kick going on here, is a realistic cat soft doorstop. It's made of 100% cotton screen-printed with eco-friendly organic ink in the image (and shape) of a cat. Then it's weighted with plastic pellets and stuffed with hypoallergenic polyfill. Not to mention it's hand-stitched, and since I sew it's just an item after my heart. It weighs about two pounds (so maybe not the doorstop for you if you're trying to keep precocious critters out, instead of holding the door open so they can come in), but it'll certainly hold a door, stop a draft, and get some double-takes from visitors while doing so.
Have a great week!
