Are you looking for an easy to house train your puppy? Your answer is a dog crate. Crates are the easiest and fastest way to house train any new puppy or dog. Many will grow to love their crates. Crates are not only great for housetraining but they in essence give them their own bedroom. By giving them a dog bed or some dog cratewear, you have turned a boring metal dog crate into a comfortable bedroom.

Please do not abuse a crate though. Like you, dogs do not want or deserve to be locked up all day. Once your dog is properly trained the crate door should be left open or removed for them to come and go as they please. Crates are a dog's bedroom, not their house. If you must crate your dog all day look in to a good dog daycare or dog walker.
