Bri's Weekly Top Three 12.22.16

Posted by Briana Graber on

Just before the holiday weekend here I have a few more things for you.  Unless they carry them in your local pet store, though, I wouldn't expect any of them to arrive in time for stocking stuffers.  Thankfully its not all treats this week, I figured everyone would be getting their share over the next few days so i probably wouldn't need to overload the list.

The first one, however, is a treat.  In both the literal and figurative sense.  Dr. Becker, according to their website, has been featured on programs on channels such as Animal Planet and is well-respected in the field of pet nutrition.  After asking her mom to make treats that fulfilled the nutritional needs of pets, and with resounding approval from Dr. Becker's own pets, she lent her name to her mother's new business as a sign of Veterinarian approval.  Dr. Becker's Organic Beef Bites hit just about every important key word in treats.  They are gluten-free, grain-free, filler-free, and GMO-free single-ingredient treats made only with certified human-grade organic beef.

Moving away from treats we move to the closely-related treat pouch.  Made with cloth materials so durable you could probably construct a small dwelling out of them, this treat pouch from Trets attaches to your hip for easy access to treats when you're training, or just on a walk or hike and deserve a little spoiling.  The magnetic pouch is enough to keep the dogs from stealing from the proverbial cookie jar, but easy enough to flick open for easy access when you need it.

Related to walks, but not to treats, we have the kitty holster cat harness.  It's good for cats to get some fresh air every now-and-again, and even if you're only taking them to the vet, it sounds much nicer to give your cat a little jacket you can attach to a leash rather than fight with them to get into the kennel.  It also sounds preferable to the constant worry they'll escape if you let them roam without a leash, just in case.  There's a lot of cute patterns, but sometimes I like something a little understated, so I think the denim is my personal favorite.  Kitty holster worries a lot about the comfort of your cat, so they make their vests from lightweight fabric and line them with undyed cotton so they don't get to warm and their skin doesn't get irritated from any chemicals.

That's it for today.  Whatever you celebrate, I hope you enjoy(ed) the holidays this year.  See you next week.
