Bri's Weekly Top Three 2.24.17

Finished up the Midlee products I was working with, so I have one last batch for you until further notice. This week we're talking about birthdays, dresses, and birds...not all at the same time, of course.
For the first time I got to work with a product designed for birds, which was quite the pleasant surprise. Some kids wanted a gold fish, I always wanted a bird. They're smart creature, many of whom have even figured out how to use tools, mimic speech, all the good things you already know about but I'm repeating anyway (like a parrot, you see). What I worked with is a series of wooden block puzzles designed to exercise birds' brains. It comes in three ratings: easy, medium, and hard. The birds have to move the pieces around until they fit into the slots on the wooden board. It's a great idea, especially if you're worried about the mischief a bored parrot might get into. Great toy for a great animal.

Next, I've got to wish your pet Happy Birthday, and a birthday hat shaped like a cake sounds like the most hilarious way to do it. The plush fabric on this hat looks like the dish, cake, and frosting. 'Happy Birthday' is embroidered in multicolored letters and five cloth candles wrapped in gold cord top the hat. It even has little felt flames on the candles! It's absolutely adorable and on a human it would be mortifying to wear, which makes it an absolute must-have in my book.

Now that we've covered clothing accessories, we can move on to the actual clothing. This week I worked with a pale pink halter-style dress. White lines crisscrossing the entire dress form a geometric design of triangles. I love geometric designed, and depending on how they're colored they can either look super modern and chic or super cheesy and fun. This falls in to the classy chic category, and with spring approaching, it might be a great dress for your dog to welcome in the season, especially with all the spring holidays coming up.

See you next week with the next random assortment of items!
