Holiday weekend was excellent for everyone I hope. I know I had an enjoyable time-got two hang out with four extremely lovely dogs this past weekend-a corgi, brittany, and a couple gorgeous pitties. Wish I could've taken them home with me, but someone, probably several someones, would be upset if I had. At any rate, now that Thanksgiving is over we're officially into the winter gift-buying holiday season, and I'm working with a lot of those products, so that's probably going to be most of what I share over the next few weeks here. Thankfully, there's a lot of toys, outfits, so on and so forth, so it shouldn't get too repetitive-other than perhaps the color scheme. Upside-you can coordinate your pet's outfit with its toys much more easily.
First-who doesn't love gingerbread? It's got that perfect mix of spice to sweet and can be oh-so versatile. We make houses out of it and hold competitions to see who can make the most ridiculously intricate food-based architecture. Turns out, dogs love it too, and I can't blame them. Polka Dog Bakery has some extremely popular gingerbread dog treats bagged with the classic Christmas "naughty or nice" theme-though I think we all know that we tend to spoil pets around the holidays regardless of whether they're classified as naughty or nice.

Next up is perhaps the only dress that immediately reminded me of Shirley Temple from sheer adorableness and sense of style. The White Christmas Santa Girl dress by Doggie Design is simply precious and I for one, think there should be more pet's wearing it this holiday.

It's important to note that Christmas isn't the only winter holiday-there's also been some lovely Hanukkah toys I've worked with over the past week. MultiPet reminds your dog deserves toys over whichever holiday they celebrate with their Look Whose Talking Gifilte Fish toy. With that gorgeous blue and white colors its a good thing the fish can survive a trip through water in your washing machine to keep it looking spiffy. And it has a speaker inside that says "Oy Vey!" every time your pup squeezes it, which is sure to get a laugh.
